Earthquakes in South Minneapolis?

That was my first thought. Upon coming-to, I realized that the window-rattling, house-shaking, and unbearable noise was not in fact due to an earthquake in my neighborhood. Weird. Last month, the Minneapolis-St.Paul Airport closed their main runway and diverted all air traffic primarily to 2 other runways. Coincidentally, both flight lines now go directly over my house (approximately 1,030 times per day). In fact, if planes took off from both of these runways (north or west) at the same time, I would probably have fuselage in my living room. Apparently this is only going to last until the middle of October, but I think my house might crumble to the ground by then.

This guy seems to think that the revised flight patterns should be permanent. What this asshat fails to remember is that he bought a house under the main MSP flight lines. I did not. If it is as bad as he is saying it is, then I'm sure his house has been MAC'ed and he should quit his whining.

So, if anyone ever wants to pay me a visit, just draw straight lines heading north and west out of the 2 outlying runways at MSP, and you'll be here.
